The Future of OS X vs. Longhorn
A terrific article by Chris Seibold on Apple Matters explains why Apple would not necessarily benefit directly from a Longhorn flop. Rather, Apple's best chance for building market share is in continuing to innovate with OS X:
The recent success of Apple is not because Microsoft has made anything worse, indeed they haven’t made anything at all. It is because OS X is seen as freshly innovative. Apple is giving people reasons to buy Macs and the reasons aren’t because Microsoft blows
It's a good reminder why Apple can't expect to gain new customers just because Longhorn stinks.

It should also be properly embedded in the pages with , but let me know if that's not working.
