Apple Releases New iBook and Mac Mini
Apple announced new updates today to the iBook and the Mac Mini.
Updates to the iBook include efficient scrolling and panning with the trackpad, Bluetooth now standard in addition to the already standard 802.11g Airport Extreme, and 512 MB RAM. There's also a new "sudden motion sensor" that will help protect your hard drive if you drop the iBook. Apparently rumors to the effect of a new widescreen iBook were nothing more than vapor.
The new Mac Mini also comes with 512 MB RAM standard, and new options for built-in wireless (Airport Extreme and Bluetooth) and the DVD-burning SuperDrive on the medium- ($599) and high-end ($699) models, respectively.
